Hispanic Television: Epic Fail...

If you live down here in California, it would not be hard to notice that for some reason the majority rule is neither white, black, nor any other but Hispanic.

You look to your left, you will see Jose mowing someone's lawn (they get paid dirt cheap, you can afford the whole family cleaning your mess). The fact is that they made these services so cheap, white people landscaping will go out of business immediately.

You look to your right, it's an ice cream truck, but for some reason instead of lounging songs that is tuned for little younglings, you are forced to hum to the tune of "lambada" or other erotic Hispanic songs out there, the ice cream selection is completely blatant "cocorico" or "pina colada." It's not simple blackberry, blueberry, chocolate berry you find in your standard ice cream shack--you are forced to asimilate between the taste of stale burrito and arm pits. And you guess right, if you ask the name of the ice cream man, it would probably be 99.9% Jose.

Now I am not complaining about the reality that we are transforming California into Hispanic city, I think that diversity is great... Here comes my objection though, why the hell are we forced to watch Hispanic channel, with Hispanic language or awfully dubbed movies in Espanol (which makes it lost all meaning) while we are living in the land of USA?

Here is a sample, tune in to channel 14 or 22 they are probably showing car dealer infomercial in Espanol.

Sure is lovely.

Selling women to sell cars, with scantily clad bikinis and sexy tops, you could barely pay attention to the numbers, all you see is the tata's.

And you guessed right, they do not know anything about cars or trucks. Their purpose of existence is to sell the sex appeal, to sell the car. Now since these channel is public commercial guess what your 5 year-old is watching? Free Sex campaign....

On this one, she's so butt ugly, as if the owner put his own wife to do the selling.... The old hag is not even cute in green...

Now every so often in the afternoon, you should tune in to Hispanic shows such as "Don Cheto." Amazingly retarded talent show, featuring a fat man with a huge sombrero hat (just a typical slap to your respected Hispanic community).

Mexican Santa...

Here is the Don himself, often featuring women performed in bikini, as if almost naked.

Surprisingly, from the audience you will see little kids, maybe less than 10 years old enjoying the show as much as their parents.... Bad parenting? You guessed right.

How does this affect the community?

Go here enter your zip code in California, and look how many sex offenders in your left or right alley are Hispanic.

Obviously bad parenting and bad culture have something to do with it... And I think FCC needs to pay more attention to detail, rather than worrying about the Digital TV migration scheme...

Just a thought.

Emo Culture Trends

**************************************************
I've been getting alot of these lately...

I mean, how stupid can you be? Of all my time using msn messenger I have never ever infected myself with acai berry shit. Of course I think people who cannot properly use and care for their computer should just use sticky notes for IM.

**************************************************

When I visit and read many forums lately, people are talking so much about emo, emo this emo that. Makes me want to declare fatwa against emo.

Face it, many typical Indonesian teenagers who are dressed like emo,  just don't know what they want, really.

They think its cool, it makes them different but mostly its because of the gengsi factor.

According to my research, emo comes from a music style, similar to that of punk rock but have more emphasis in the emotional lyrics.  Often time emo music talks about broken heart, death or similar useless ramblings issues.

Then comes the emo style, long haircut, piercings, temporary tattoos, all that you think will make you cool.

My mom would simply describe this in one word: "gembel."
I would simply describe this with two words: "gay" and "gembel"

like "jurig"

Another typical emo style is by having your pictures taken at high angle, to hide the roundness and double chin on the face, as well as eliminating the love handles on the belly. With this, the viewer can only see part of the face to give the illusion of "cuteness".

With special angle

Without special angle.

I mean.... you can't possibly be gay-er than that!

Fatwa against Facebook and Friendster

Apparently the hot news now is about declaring fatwa.
Fatwa this, fatwa that.

Fatwa, eating babi
Fatwa, you cannot see "goyang bor"

If you don't have fatwa, you're not "saleh" enough to be called Muslim.

Take for example, according to this article about a Muslim conference,

A conference of Islamic students and clerics called “Forum Bathsul Masail (BMP) Putri XI”, and held at the Putri Hidayatul Mubtadi-aat Islamic boarding school for girls at Lirboyo in Kediri has been widely reported to have issued a fatwa against the usage by Muslims of social networking sites such as Friendster and Facebook.

Ironically, the person who started the controversy, Harun, admitted that he too have a Facebook account.

Such a double standard...

The primary concern was, social networking sites such as Facebook and Friendster can provide medium (text, sms) that can lead to communication (i.e. consort) of young unmarried people (especially with foreigner) and this was defined as haram.

I smell another fart fatwa.
Fatwa against bule...

I guess this will bring many muslimah teenagers "high" on Blackberry and FB technology to a grinding despair, I mean what else are you gonna do to pass the time, make toy cars out of jeruk bali?

This too, can bring negative effects on TKI trades, as many of our loyal customers are "foreign" men who ended up marrying women like Siti and Inem. Many of which no longer Muslim once they are married, and then change their name into Madonna or Gabrielle.

You don't want to do that Mr. Harun, otherwise Muslim Indonesians would have nothing to do while sitting idle, and this is haram.

Ironically,
According to Google Trends, Indonesians account for the greatest number of users of Friendster by country: Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, United States, Singapore.

While for Facebook Indonesia is fourth in raw numbers terms: United States, United Kingdom, Italy, Indonesia, France.

By my calculations, if 85% of Indonesian population is Muslim, there will be a substantial amount of reduction in Facebook and Friendster online activity in the next few months. (Means alot of pissed off and horny Indonesians).

Productivity however, might increase as many of PNS (Pegawai Negeri) will actually be doing their job, Cops will actually solve crimes, and penyanyi dangdut will actually sing (instead of doing goyang bor).

Bule pays different fare here.

I have decided to go back into writing. After a long (2 years) period of being lazy, I've decided to start writing again. Remembering things that I loved about writing and utterly expressing how I feel. For those of you who were once a cult follower of this blog, hope you enjoy what I have to offer.

I was reading an interesting posting in one of the many forums I visited when I'm idle, and I found this posting here.

Note: idle here means I am basically at work, supposedly doing work, but I just got nothing to do.

Anyway, the writer were questioning, about how Indonesian government were charging different entrance  fees for bules and locals for the same service.

Note: since many Indonesians are still ignorant, they call everyone with caucasian/ hispanic descent as "bules" (meaning literally: white skin)

If you eat burritos, you are bule
If you eat hamburger, you are bule
If you sit in the toilet, as opposed to squatting, you are "like bule"

Same place:

Different Fare:

About a buck fifty (1.50) for the locals

And about 11 bucks for the bules

Almost 10x the difference for a bule to see the same place, touch the same stones, take the same pictures (with or without monkeys), and look at the same gerombolan Indonesian asses.

Why is that?

I know here in L.A we charge different rates to enter community college for local residents and non-residents, but not in public places such as museums, art exhibitions, clubs etc.

Even the writer of the post were questioned, is he from China, Japan or other foreign country so that they (the government) can impose a different fee; while he was born and live in Indonesia all his life! I can't help to think that many Indonesians are equipped with automatic racism programming capability (embedded) to immediately shut their brain of the possibility that there are diversity amongst all of us.

I think that charging a higher fee for tourists are justifiable, but not at 1000% rate difference. The fact is Borobudur cannot be claimed as "Indonesian Property" only, it belongs to the world. Just because I have an Audi parked in front of my side street, does not immediately makes it my property.

Poor bules, they should learn how to squat in the toilet, by then they would probably pay the same rate as the locals.
